When I first read it, I was prepared not to like it, but then I read it again and yes, i do! You've picked up on a part of Donna's character that is often overlooked. I love the line about wanting to keep secrets.

I'm writing my first fic at the moment and desperately trying to discover if President Santos, his wife, Josh and Donna would all go on same State visit abroad? Any ideas?

Thank you! I'm pretty sure that somewhere all the J/D shippers are preparing to lynch me *g* but I'm rewatching Season5, and there's quite a lot of Donna-angst and restlessness going on - once I got the idea it just wouldn't go away. :) I'm really glad that it worked for you!!

If I remember correctly (and I might not) Josh and Donna are both the CoS for the respective Santos - so I would think that if the state visit was important enough they would both go, as long as nothing important was happening at home. Maybe China? Or if there was some big treaty being revealed, I think they would all go. :) I hope that helps and good luck with your story!

Now this is a Josh/Donna story I can get behind....you have a great characterization in this story, managing to capture Josh and Donna as separate people and not some meant to be entity, and I absolutely love it. And Joe Qunicy just showing up in the airport....I love it, love it, love it. Just terrific : )

This is really well-characterized. Despite certain canon lines implying that Josh is less than big on monogamy, I've always thought it was clear that he is in fact, more needy of the security that comes with monogamy than Donna has been. So yeah, I always figured it would be Donna that would stray, but that Josh would always end up taking her back, because no matter what it'll always matter more to him that she came back.

Aw, thank you so much! The way I see it, Josh would be big on monogamy with Donna, cause even when he was cheating on a woman, Donna was always around, no matter what was going on in his personal life. \

it'll always matter more to him that she came back. - This sums up the whole J/D relationship for me :)
