Taichi apparently talked about it on Vivit! today? I didn't watch it, but even after he talked about it the rumour didn't die out so I imagine there must be some truth to it...

I hope they have a long and detailed plans on how to tie up loose ends. They have so many shows that is affiliated with SMAP (which is copyrighted possession of JE). If those all have to end abruptly, it will be very sad (and the television channel people will be pissed). A farewell tour will be much appreciated. They have fans all over Japan, casul or die-hard. Something for their fans before they disband would be nice.

This is so painful to think about. I'm owrried about the fate of all Johnnys. The newspapers keep saying 'They are well past their age' and other very rude shit like that. Leader is older than Nakai. Nagano joined Johnnys in like 1985. There are people saying Arashi is old for them *facepalm*.

I hope Julie or Mary or whoever ends up running JE has the ability to carry on Johnny-san's company. Where is Johnny-san anyway? He threw a blasted spoon when Jin got married! He probably flipped a table over this!

I hear Takuya's gonna be talking about it on What's Up SMAP, so there must be SOME truth to it... but to what extent it's true is something else entirely

Well there are so many bands in the USUK that stay together until they look like they should all be dead. A band staying for decades is surely not that much of a surprise anymore, even in Japan ... And it's not like SMAP 's CDs are not selling. Rumours have it that SMAP will stay together after all though. I am looking forward to SMAPxSMAP next week.

In 2010 Nakai came to 5LDK I think ... And he invited Johnnys to Utaban. I was busy with RL for like 4 years so I didn't follow them very closely, but from what I can gather there have not been many interactions between SMAP and Julie's Johnnies since 2010-ish ...

But KimuTaku apparently has Nagase's LINE, right? The politics whatever can't stop SMAP and TOKIO from loving each other, right? <3 Let's hope that they do stay together ;___;
