[Though Ion's first stop once inside had been a beeline to his room to put away the things he'd taken with him when he left (as well as take off a few of the extra layers he'd been wearing because of the weather) he'll return to the kitchen soon after.]

Oh, Ion, hello. [she puts down what she's doing and turns to smile at him] Are you here to visit, or to stay?

I'm here to stay. [A somewhat sheepish smile.] I'm sorry if I worried you this past week while I was gone.

[Ion isn't the only one who's wandering through the village. The weather's been steadily worsening and with the amount of snow that's falling today, Gelda's back in her element. Luceti truly does look nicer while covered under a clean white blanket.

When she spots Ion, she approaches him with a warm smile.]

[Though Ion would agree that the village looks beautiful while covered in snow, he can't really say he's a fan of it. Even with all his layers on, he's still shivering just a bit. He reacts a little slowly to being called, but the cold is only partially to blame.]

Indeed I am. After such a long summer, I'm quite glad to see snow again.

[She's a bit less resilient towards the cold herself, after such a long time without it. That's why she's wearing an extra thick coat today.]

The weather is a bit too cold for my liking, but I thought I'd take a walk all the same. [He glances over towards the snowy landscape.]

[Someone's been making progress since she first came back from her Mallynap a couple days ago. She spent most of yesterday recovering, but today... she's feeling better enough that she's starting to get a little stir-crazy.

So Ion might notice her climbing down the stairs from the second floor of Community Housing 2, right as he's leaving, Thylos riding on her shoulders. He'll probably recognize her more than she him. Last time she saw him, he was a kitten after all.]

[Indeed he does recognize her, though for a moment he might just forget that she's not going to recognize him. He's been pretty distracted as of late, after all. But the sight of Lindsay, as well as the cat that had spooked him, makes him pause.]

[And that gets a very odd look from Lindsay. ... Who on earth was this green kid. Thylos, meanwhile, merely flicks his tail before trotting a little closer to sniff. Same scent. So this is what you look like when you're not a cat...

[While Ion is on his journey to the plaza, he may notice Yui along the way, playing in the snow. There was a mid-size snowman near her, but it was missing a head. She was busy rolling that head right now, humming to herself.]

[Actually, he notices the snowman first, staring at it with a look of wonder... wh-where was it's head!?]

[Oh. Then he sees Yui rolling up another ball of snow. That's good; the last thing Luceti needs is a bunch of decapitated snowmen. Seems kind of morbid...]

[But that was enough of a distraction to pull him out of his thoughts for the moment. He waves as he calls out to her.]

[The snowman just decided to celebrate Halloween too. Yui looks up and then waves back at Ion.]

[Noelle is out getting supplies for herself and Ginji, perhaps figuring out where some of the stores and buildings are. It's on the way through the plaza that she spots him and pauses, blinking. He really was here. He really was... alive.

She wasn't ever as close to Ion as Luke or the rest of the party - not enough to call him by his name rather than his title - but it still has an impact. Enough that she heads over in his direction.] It's good to see you, Fon Master.
