Take a peek at the forum link that's in the announcement for the TT's skill changes. A lot of those skills are very helpful to keep you protected while you're fighting where your stats aren't necessarily up to snuff. :)

Blood of the Wereseal is your friend...

Are you using blood of the wereseal? It can help quite a bit. It's +25% today and tomorrow, then +0% for two days; it will become positive again in 4 days but then will dip into a negative bonus in a week, so hopefully you can get it done long before then.

Without any kept skills from other hc ascensions, one of the old ways to do it was to buff up with wereseal and use Spectral Snapper. Spectral Snapper recently changed to Shieldbutt. I haven't had a chance to play with revamped TT skills yet, but they look very promising. According to this forum thread, you can combo the headbutt, kneebutt, and shieldbutt skills into one attack. The important thing to note is that Shieldbutt always hits! Three different attacks for a total of 13MP per cast, if I understand how the combo works. So if you've purchased Armorcraftiness, make yourself a nice turtle helmet and shield and bash away! Good luck ( ... )

When I was HC TT, I would hunt the airship and the castle to get buffing items and healing items, then I would spectral snapper the HitS until I run out of buffs/healing items.

But yes, with the headbutt kneebutt and shieldbutt ability, it shouldn't be that hard =)

I just ran my first Hardcore as a Pastamancer and used much the same strategy. It was rough going, but it worked. The new TT abilities should definately make it loads easier. Pastamancers have it rough since your best attacks are just as likely to generate ineffective Sleaze Damage as anything else.

Cans of hair spray, lots of them. They're cheap at the demon market, pump up your moxie, and are stylish as hell.
