Crypt Quest - Post Ascension

Is it me, or does the Crypt quest seem to take longer the second time around? I have already used 100 or so adventures on it.

On a side note, my main familiar is a Coffee Sprite named "Mary-Kate". I get such a kick out of seeing "Mary-Kate flits around like a hummingbird on crack, helping you pick stuff up." and "Mary-Kate gains a pound!".

coffee sprite, humor, cyrpt, bonerdagon

That's so weird, I named my mosquito "Mary Kate or Ashley Olsen, either one," for the same reaction. Great minds.

I just finished with the Cyrpt and actually, it seemed shorter this time - at least to kill the Bonerdagon. It took me forever the first time around. But that was about a year ago.

I am finally at the Bonerdragon, and it is taking me forever! I'm a level 8 Pastamancer.

I'd wait until you can purchase Weapon of the Pastalord (at level 10), then go back on a Mysticality day and lay a carbo-loaded smackdown of the Bonerdagon. Next Myst day is Monday (I suggest a stat day for when you actually open the chest). If you're only level 9 by then, purchasing the level 9 skill will help a bit too.

Sorry, meant to answer your question too. I think it took me around 60 adventures to clear out the crypt, but I'm not entirely sure. Could be that the RNG is holding a grudge. Did you forget to sacrifice three ghoul whelps when both Ronald and Grimace were full? ;)

On my seldom used farming account, I named the famaliars after cities in the midwest. I laugh everytime I see "Cleveland gains a pound!"

Actually I'm finding all the quests to be more diffcult this time around. I'm not sure why.

Stangely enough, I'm having mostly the opposite experience. I think I found and defeated three of the four crypt bosses on my first click, and I had a similar experience with the Deep-Fat Friars.
