[ At least he has his wooden box with him. That alone would mean survival, if this was another week-long phenomenon. Unfortunately, it was almost more full of mushi-related items than survival items.
I've got all of my old clothes and staff, so I should be able to heal up to two others and myself at the same time! I'm not sure if I can just keep using it without having to let my magic recover for a while, though, so it'd be better if people just avoided getting hurt~!
All right, Mistral. If everything goes smoothly, hopefully we won't need it at all, but that's good to know.
Ah-- There's something else you might be able to help with. There's a really young kid here who just arrived, Takeru. Do you think you could keep your eye on him? His animal familiar is sticking with him, but having one adult in charge of him might be smart, too. He seems rather adventurous.

In layman's terms, it's a technique that lets me temporarily merge my conscious with the forest's...'brain', I guess you could call it. A network of creatures that live under the surface, running throughout the forest and acting like its nerves. When merged with them, I can see great distances while my body remains in one place.
Trunks is one of the residents here, and as far as I can tell, he doesn't seem part-parrot at all. I still don't know how he does it...
I use Dying Will flames as thrusters and fly around like that. [He has no idea if that clears it up at all.] It took me a while to get used to it. I kept smashing into things.
I'm sorry I can't be much of any help... I'm still here though and I'm alright. [Although he's joining Yomiko in sadness about the library being gone. All the boooooks.]
Always could use more firewood hunters. It's tough to find dry wood, so we could use all the help we can get.
*notices Alphonse's gloomy aura, and doesn't know what else to do but give him an encouraging light pat on the back before moving on to other 'homeless'* ...
I could do that! [He's eager to help... even though he probably wouldn't be able to carry a lot of wood. He's still willing to do as much as he can, though.]

Hey, maybe you can help gather some firewood. It needs to be dry, of varying thickness. Could I ask you to do that?

Mind showing me now? Or is it like Mistral's magic, and you can only use it so many times a day?
