I'm feeling much better, those of you who I may have worried recently. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your concern and your support. I believe that with time, I will come to accept things. The pain has not died down entirely, but I know now that it was not a pain that I should carry like some kind of punishment. I apologize, that was not meant as a slight to you. It simply tastes as blood should taste... which is not very appetizing...

Why is it... that Kurogane's blood tastes different?

Even more difficult to describe... I do not know if the difference is even literal "taste..." That is simply the best way that I can think of to describe it.

This will be impossible to puzzle through without memories.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you. But you never know what we might be missing that we can discover without those memories. Don't lose hope.

*readjusts the grip around his cut arm* In the meantime...would you mind fishing out some bandages for me? In the bottom drawer on the left side of the desk. It won't be hard to find a healer, but it would be good to wrap it up until then.
