My old computer speakers have had issues for a while. Using them is mastering the delicate art of wiggling the wires just right until you get sound in both of them and then gently - gently - putting them back down without moving/breathing/thinking the wrong way and thus losing sound in the left speaker again. I figured it was better than frying my old speakers from accidentally yanking out some important wire. But damn, ew. I should have put up biohazard signs.
