I am watching Hansel and Gretel, the unrated cut. It makes it even more clear that Jeremy was talking out of his ass when he said in an interview that Hansel was a ladies' man. Hansel has no game. Hansel, in fact, owes somebody some game. It's HILARIOUS

I guess it's a teeny-tiny step in the right direction when the director/editor realized how rapey that scene was and cut it?

I haven't gotten it yet, but I will this week.

I think it was cut for the same reasons the others were, so they could get an R rating. The scene works quite well from a storytelling perspective. It just made me squirm. Peter Stormare is entirely too good at playing sleazy villains.

There is no actual rapeyness, though. And it just makes you root all the harder for Edward. Who looks like Ed Asner, which makes me giggle.
