*shivers* I love this. It's not the first Star Wars SGA AU I've seen, but definately the most complex and dark. And hot. Must not forget the hot. Love love love.

Thanks so much! *g* I find Sith characters intriguing in general, and it was fun to play with John and Rodney in that kind of environment, looking at how they might hand the complexities of such a society and their own ambitions. Not to mention attempting to write the-hot-Sith-sex, of which there should be lots more, IMHO! ~:D

I don't know Star Wars mythos beyond the original three movies, but I liked this -- liked seeing John and Rodney plot to take over the galaxy, having J'hon born into the world John refers to all the time on the show, the way you portrayed the strange intimacy that builds up between two people who've sworn to kill each other (it reminds me of Samurai Champloo, if you know that series -- two guys who start out hating each other and by the end kill anyone who tries to kill the other, saying it's because they want to be the one who does it, but of course they never get around to it), and the nod to/twist on "Aurora" where they're taking turns trying to kill instead of save each other. Fun!

You know, I'm really tickled that you got the 'Aurora' reference. Because, as Sith, I think that's totally how they would twist things! *g*

I don't know that series, but it sounds very interesting (and possibly quite slashy) - of course now I'll have to check it out! But, yes, that was pretty much what I was going for, trying to bring out the territorial and possessive undercurrent to their relationship and their attempts to kill each other. So, I'm really pleased that came across for you, and that you enjoyed the fic.
