HAHA STUPID SCANNER
All I had to do to get it to work was unplug it and then plug it back in. xD;
Anyway, have a quick Yoko sketch |D
Yoko - :9 I'm proud because it's in pen durp durp
making an end-of-year post after this. I always make my art posts public so I didn't want them to be in the same post xD;;

yoko's bust and hips are ill aligned. try drawing a mock-body in pencil before you sketch, or else you'll get this effect. the body moves in a square pattern, though it is possible to be twisted like your picture showed, it's extremely uncomfortable and most likely not the pose you were going for. when you draw her body, think of an hourglass. don't start to pinch until you've cleared the rib cage. take a look at some anatomical drawings, the more of the body you understand, the better an artist you will become. yoko's hips are very wide, as well.
another tip is, when drawing yoko (i know she's got the hair thing that covers her face) make sure to draw her other eye. the lack of substance there is awkward to the eye. overall, a good picture, just a few easily correctable errors that come from a lack of understanding of anatomy. you'll get there in no time. :)

But yes, I totally agree with everything you said here, I have problems drawing anatomy, haha I've been thinking about picking up some human anatomy books when money's not so tight - they'd do me some good. xD
I'll definitely be keeping these things in mind when drawing in the future.
Thanks so much! :D
Oh and the only reason I didn't draw the other eye was because I was afraid of drawing it out of alignment or some nonsense, since it's in pen, haha
