Dear SORALUNII,

HELP! Tell me, please, where have you found the penultimate image (with the signature "another 1919")? Is it from the fashion magazine or the illustration of any artist?
It is VERY important for me! I liked this style of drawing very much...

dear dashasilk,

I tried looking for that image again, but I can't find it any more. I think I originally found it in the NYPL Digital Gallery. Even though I could not find that image, this is a link with more fashion drawings from that period, maybe that could help you in some way. Sorry I could not better answer your question.
The link is: http://digitalgallery.nypl.org/nypldigital/dgkeysearchresult.cfm?num=0&word=Men%20%2D%2D%20Clothing%20%26%20dress%20%2D%2D%201910%2D1919&s=3¬word=&d=&c=&f=2&k=0&lWord=&lField=&sScope=&sLevel=&sLabel=&imgs=20&pNum=

Thanks for this wonderful link. Very interesting site...
Unfortunately, I also have not found this image or something similar.
However I have the similar pictures from other source. Look please:

Can you know, maybe, from what vintage magazine these images?
And can you give me more interesting links? =)

Hi,

The link I gave you is basically the main source from where I find the photos I posted on my journal. Another interesting source, but mainly for photos is the Life magazine archive on Google, which you can find here: http://images.google.com/hosted/life

If you search something like 1910 women, you will get results like this: http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&sa=1&q=1910+women+source%3Alife&biw=

Also, if you really want to find out the author of those images, try to find on Flickr communities that deal with this theme, and maybe they will be able to tell you more.

You could also try here on livejournal to make a post on the community called bygonefashion, because someone there may recognize the author of those illustrations.
Best of luck,
Oana Emilia
