I usually bundle 4 or 5 costumes together and put them all in one auction on ebay. :3 Usually nets me $100-$200 or so.

Sell them or give them to friends. :< I think it's such an awful waste to throw art of any form away. x.x; Of course, I'm a packrat, but...I hate the idea of throwing away something you created. Someone else might still enjoy them!

I tried to throw all of my old crap away. Everything from 1999-2005ish was donated somewhere. If you dump them around Halloween, they don't ask.

Reuse parts for new costumes, sell them on eBay (which I don't do much anymore because of the fees/flood of cheap Chinese shit drowning out everything else), or sell them on Etsy. There is also a forum on cosplay.com where you can list secondhand costumes for cheap (basically you're just posting ads for things for sale), but I've never used it.
