I enjoy watching other people's madness

Sep 11, 2009 00:46

A 50 year old woman from Israel accidentally joined my local Unitarian Universalist young adults' group's e-mail listserv (long story). Here is her first and last post.

Madness? THIS. IS. RECYCLED CLINTON-ERA SPAAAAAAAAAAAM! (Kosher) )

this is my story, politics, ...the hell?

Ok. I'll confess I skipped the cut and the main paragraph, but I still claim legitimate authority when I say in re: your Socks jibe 'bwahahaha'.

Also: dude, wait, what? When did you start going to Unitarian Universalist jamborees?

Rorschach scares the bejeebus out of me. I don't care if he's fictitious. He's a thousand times scarier than the joker. At least the joker KNOWS he's an asshole. That mofo gives me the willies. I'd NEVER let him into my flame-spitting flying owl pod. Mmm... flying owl pod. Sexiest. Car. Ever.

You're missing some quality tin-hattery. Then again, I suppose you could just watch Fox News for ten minutes and get the same effect.

I started going to a UU church when I moved to Cincinnati, about four years ago. I remembered talking to you about the religion and I was very interested.

Rorschach forgot the whole protecting the innocent part of being a superhero and went straight for the punishing evil-doers. Then again, I think there are very few adults he would consider not evil in one way or another. Excellent character. Wouldn't want him in my neighborhood though.
