The other day I had a searing, blazing epiphany which I'm sure occurred to all of you several years ago. JD and Dr. Cox of "Scrubs" are Harry and Snape.

Oh yay! I like both of these. They're both fantastically subtle and so evocative. I especially like By dawn, Snape was calling him “Charlie”, and much more. and “Because the gods hate me, Mr. Potter” . The second one made me giggle. The first one made me squee.

Oh, good, I thought that the first one might be misunderstood, that it might sound like Charlie is threatening, rather than begging (which *is* what he's doing).

And I liked that line about the gods hating him, too. :-D
