I didn’t think I’d have a good time at Dragon*con this year - didn’t think there was that much I wanted to see, or that everything I wanted to see was in the same time slot.

But! Fannish things that were really fun: ( Neville and the Weasley Twins )

Neville showed up briefly at the Yule Ball tonight, but he had to leave (although he got a cell phone call from James Phelps just as he was starting to address the crowd, and that got a huge squee, so he held the phone out for James to hear) shortly thereafter, and so did I. But I may have a photo which I only hope will properly demonstrate the hotness. :-D Wish you were here! I didn't realize how weird con attendees really are until this year because you weren't here being normal! :-P

Oh, and I ran into irana and obsessed1 (sp?) yesterday as I was heading home, but we chatted a bit and we all miss you! O1 was bummed that they misspelled her badge as "obsessed one", but I told her it wasn't as bad as what they did to lupintonks85's badge name: it says "lupintanks85". Personally, I think it's rude to have a badge name that's a spoiler for DH, but what can you do.....;-)

i am so totally jealous! I wanted to go this year, but I have absolutely no money. I hear the Phelpses are going to be there next year too, is that true? And I really wish I could have seen Matthew Lewis.

No one knows yet if they'll be there next year; they might be filming. They were supposed to be there last year and then they had to cancel, so you never know. I hope they'll be here; I felt kind of bad for them two years ago because they really seemed sort of uncomfortable answering questions in front of such a huge crowd, but this year they seemed to be enjoying it a lot more. Maybe because Matthew is here, too, so it takes some of the pressure off of them, or maybe because they can all hang out together.

Let me know if you decide to come next year! I may try to stay at a hotel downtown, but if I don't (or if I do), you can come stay with me. Unless you're allergic to cats or have a problem with cat pee all over your belongings.

I have two of the most neurotic and obnoxious cats in existence, so I don't have any problem with that. And I would love to stay with you! But I might have a few people coming with me, so it might not work out. I guess we'll see next summer.

I do hope James and Oliver can come next year! I want them to autograph my shoulder, so I can get it tattooed on. Guess I have to research tattoo parlors in Atlanta, too.

Oh, did I mention that I will be getting a tattoo soon? Yeah. "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good" on my left shoulder, in font. How cool is that?! And then I can get autograph tattoos to go with it. Yay! :D

You REALLY need to meet lupintonks85 when you come. She's got a Phoenix rising on her back and a timeturner on a chain that goes around her ankle. And she's thinking of getting more on her back. Anyway, I know some people who can recommend tattoo parlors around here, but I don't think any of them are in Atlanta proper.

If you come with people and need a roommate, maybe I can stay with you. I wasn't that interested in late night stuff this year, and it was nice to sleep in my own bed, but it was hard to get up every morning and try to get downtown by 10 (which seemed to be when everything I wanted to see started).

Both him and Chris Judge play such stoic guys on their respective shows and are totally wacky in real life. Or at least in front of con audiences ( ... )

WAAaaaa... wasn't there, but I've seen Jason at a con before, and he is just so adorable I wanna take him home a put him on my bed like a teddy bear... a teddy bear you can ravage from time to time, but a teddy bear all the same ;)

Yeah, it's fun, but tiring. And I'm doing more of the celebrity panel stuff this time which means waiting in line for an hour or two to be sure I get into the room. And it's really crowded this year; the fire marshall has had to close the Hyatt at least once -- that is, not letting anyone else in. I ran into catrinella the first day I was there, and she's working for the con, doing a count to see how full the rooms are, so I think they're aware that it may be getting too big......but I still hope you can come next year. :-D
