I am so upset this week about Trump. American friends, I can't even. I mean, FUCKING HELL. But also for the world, all the world as well. Truly fearful for what might eventuate. Yes, I agree, I fell apart the first night, because climate change and nukes and civil rights and oh fuck all of it. We somehow have to keep him from getting to name two Supreme Court justices, or it will be all over. I

am deeply mourning and fucking furious at a) the people who said "they're just the same" and b) the media, which loved the spectacle, the horse race, the reality show aspect, as if the candidates were in the same league. The New York Times, wtf?
