it is starting to become creepy, everytime i think, "where is my sophrosyne31?" that you appear in the next 48 hours to tell us. it is becoming uncanny.
I am forced to live the life of a pensioner due to all my frickin friends having fled to other side of town to nurse their mortgages and pay their babies.
The old lady's life is where it's at, isn't it? Tea and cats and books...last night I managed to stay awake until 9.30, imagine that! And right now I've just woken up from a nap on the couch with my two little kitten bittens and I think I'm going to organize all the books I recently dug up from my mum's crawlspace. So much excitement.
But I'm getting ready to take a month off work - I'll be jetting down to San Francisco for a week (and we've already planned an LOTR marathon, because it really has been too long) and then off to London, my beloved home away from home, for three weeks. ♥ I get to christen the guest bedroom in raitala's new house and stuff myself with scones & jam & clotted cream, and go see Wicked and The Lion King and probably a bunch of other shows and go SHOPPING until my feet hurt and then I'll toddle back home and drink tea while raitala's cat kneads bread on my lap. Life really is good.
Ah I am not the only Young Nana in the house! Yes it's a restful existence. I have my dinner ready at one minute to the 7 o'clock news, I lie under a rug, I pat my cat, we go to bed. I fuss over my kitchen cupboard and spend my time arranging my bookcase, like you. Restful.
Have a smashing time in SF my darling! LOTR marathon! Oh my god I miss it. I really do. LOTR and Lotrips was such a comfy cosy little world. Nothing will ever be as much fun!
So glad you're happy. That gladdens my wifey heart. *many smooches*

Saturday was lovely but I must stop this habit of spending all weekend reading in bed. On the other hand: why?
