It was a damp grey day, so delicious, so cosy.

Just watched Happy Together, by Wong Kar-Wai, a newish friend of mine bought it and sent it to me the other day as a surprise gift; I came home in a terrible sad mood about something and there was this package and it reminded me that not all of life is tragickal. My dear woman, what kind of journal do you think I'm keeping here? Haven't seen your character questions yet as flist is strictly for the hours after 10pm, which explains why I've only just got up at 1.3opm today.

Mmm, I saw that movie in the theater in 1998 or so, it's so lovely. My favorite part is when they dance tango in the apartment. It feels so sad and tender and real.

I love that movie. That bit with the voice recorder breaks my heart. And then when they are in the hallway afterwards, and they hug and it goes into slow motion - oh!
