There is a cat stuck in a tree outside my building. It has been there since 4 o'clock this afternoon

Oh, poor kitty. Hope he's gotten down by now.

Well I last checked on him around two and he was still there, but when I woke up this morning he was gone. He's not laying on the ground anywhere, so I guess he made it down safe and sound. I kind of wish he had stayed because now, unless his owner came back for him (unlikely) I'm sure he's just roaming around somewhere. I would have liked to have taken him to a shelter.
