Summary: Jared and Jensen on the beach.
Notes: Beta'd by
waterofthemoon Jared and Jensen are on a secluded beach somewhere far away from the press and the chill of Vancouver. No worries about the show or the fans, nothing but time and each other. The sun is bright, the ocean is blue, and Jared is reapplying sunscreen to Jensen's back as he does every hour on the hour because he doesn't want him to burn.
Jensen puts up a token protest, but Jared knows he doesn’t mind. He knows Jensen likes the feel of Jared's big hands sweeping down his back, and Jensen doesn't even bother denying how much he loves the way Jared has to lean over and kiss his shoulder every time he finishes.
Jensen looks back over his shoulder, blinking and sleepy. He's just so adorable that Jared has to push him over onto his back and kiss him. Jensen hums appreciatively against his lips and slides his hands up Jared's arms, smoothing his thumbs along the skin under Jared's collarbones.
Jared doesn't even mind that the sand is sticking and getting all over both of them because it's warm enough to feel like home but cool enough from the water that he isn't miserable-not that he could be with Jensen here. He breaks the kiss and just stares, wondering how he ever got this lucky. He doesn't realize how long it's been until Jensen starts making faces at him.
"You know, if you're not careful, your face will stick like that," he says, leaning down to drop a kiss on the tip of Jensen's nose and one on each eyelid. He covers Jensen's face with kisses until Jensen is shaking and helpless with laughter underneath him, his eyes crinkling and making him look so young, the way he only does when he's truly and completely happy.
Jared loves making him look like that.
