"Oh, excuse me," she offered quickly. "Taking your picture wasn't my intention. I'll delete it if you prefer."

She seemed confused, for the most part, but then the whole photographing thing never really got to her in the first place.

She held out the camera so the other girl could see: she'd been taking photographs of the campus, and of the local fauna.
"It's not much," she admitted, "but keeping in touch with family is important."

"Oh, I didn't mean to interrupt," she apologizes. "I've just been - taking photographs of the area, to send to my family back home. I hope that's all right."

Looking away, her attention was caught by the soccer team and she looked mildly quizzical for a moment. Sports had also not been a part of her family's lifestyle.
