Isis is wandering the campus in the early evening, a small digital camera held in one hand. Every so often she lifts it to snap a picture of her surroundings, then jots down in a tiny notebook the location at which the photo was taken. (The piece of paper has the words "For Malik" written at its top

Sheyla had been busy, well, working on a doll, outfitting it, and the sound of the camera (the small press of the button, not much of a sound at all) made her turn around. She tilted her head slightly, glancing at the camera-taking person curiously.

"Can I help you?"

Isis started: she hadn't seen the other girl, preoccupied with capturing the grounds around her.

"Oh, excuse me," she offered quickly. "Taking your picture wasn't my intention. I'll delete it if you prefer."

"I don't mind I just...why are you photographing?"

She seemed confused, for the most part, but then the whole photographing thing never really got to her in the first place.

"It's for my little brother," Isis replied with a tiny smile, flipping absently through the photos she'd already taken. "He hasn't had a chance to do much traveling, and this is the first we've been separated. So I promised to send him photographs from my stay."

She held out the camera so the other girl could see: she'd been taking photographs of the campus, and of the local fauna.

"It's not much," she admitted, "but keeping in touch with family is important."

Ky was on the sidelines with the Soccer Team wrapping up practice, blowing a whistle. "All right everyone, good job on the field," He clapped. "Start breaking down and everyone can go home after everything's put up properly. Remember, the next Practice will start ten minutes later." As the team broke down, he noticed Isis and waved at her.

"Hello, are you looking for something?"

She looks over at the sight of an adult addressing her, and approaches.

"Oh, I didn't mean to interrupt," she apologizes. "I've just been - taking photographs of the area, to send to my family back home. I hope that's all right."

"It's all right, you're not interrupting anything." Ky smiled as the team got to work. "Ah, so you're here by yourself?"

She nodded. "Living in the dormitories. I'm the first of my family to attend boarding school. We're - not exactly known for traveling."

Looking away, her attention was caught by the soccer team and she looked mildly quizzical for a moment. Sports had also not been a part of her family's lifestyle.

[Fate is just doing her usual jog in the evening when she notices the flash of a camera. Turning the corner around the tree, she notices the tall girl there. Wow she was exotic.]

H-hello.

[Isis turns and notices she has company. She inclines her head a bit.]

Ah, good evening! I hope I'm not interrupting your run.

Not at all, thank you. [Bows] Are you taking pictures because you're new?

After a fashion....I'm indeed new here, and I promised my family plenty of photographs. [Isis flips through them on the camera.] Everything is so different, it's rather hard to choose what to take.
