Pairing: Gongchan/CNU
Rating: PG
Genre: Fluff
Summary: Just an fluffy one shot I made up before I went to sleep c: Sunwoo tells Chanshik a lie about Dongwoo...
You know it's 3 in the afternoon when you catch Chanshik staring at Dongwoo. Chanshik was sitting on the couch in front of him while he was getting his hair done at the salon. The stylist enjoyed playing with his hair the most for some strange reason, and took her time finding just the right tools. The other three members had been long gone, probably enjoying their small moments of free time browsing the web, eating junk food like no tomorrow (which would then result in Jinyoung scolding them for eating way too much while secretly bringing a bag of chips into his room), or maybe even watching a certain Victoria's Secret video for some "inspiration".
Dongwoo was comfortably perched on a tall black leather chair with his legs crossed and his focus on a High Cut magazine he had picked up from the white table in front of him.
"Channie, maybe you should stop staring at me now. You're going to burn a hole through my face," he muttered, his tone of voice clearly showing how irritated he was.
A week ago, Sunwoo had somehow convinced him that every day at 3 in the afternoon Dongwoo's mustache would grow just a little bit longer and faster than usual. He was informed of this by Jinyoung, who seemed absolutely just as puzzled as he was. Why Chanshik was gullible enough to believe his lies, Dongwoo had absolutely no idea. However it must have been quite the convincing conversation if he was willing to go out of his way to find some way or another to stare at his face from exactly 2:59p.m. to 3:01p.m.
Chanshik fidgeted, still keeping his eyes on the skin beneath Dongwoo's nose. "Are you sure that your hair doesn't grow longer around this time?"
He put down his magazine and sighed deeply. He then turned his attention to the wide eyed young man in front of him and said, "How many times do I have to explain to you Channie? Sunwoo was lying. And even if my mustache did grow faster around this time, it wouldn't matter anyways because I shave it off the morning after."
At this time, a noise came from Chanshik's phone. He frowned and took his eyes off Dongwoo to look at his feet. For a good ten minutes he did nothing but sit there and stare at his shoes, which really isn't extremely interesting. The noise emitting from his phone remained ignored until the stylist came back with a bucket of supplies.
"Now.. I know that we decided not to go pink last time. But just please just let me try bl Is that your phone Chanshik?"
He reluctantly picked up the phone and turned off the alarm. "I'll leave now. good luck with your hair, hyung." He gave Dongwoo a weak smile and walked away with a depressed look on his face, similar to a 10 year old boy's when his father doesn't buy him the expensive new toy he wants.
Seeing Chanshik's sulky expression, Dongwoo almost felt bad for breaking the news to him. But what could he do? This was all Sunwoo's idea of a joke and he just wanted to make it clear that his mustache does not grow longer at different times of the day.
----
The rest of the day was extremely uncomfortable for him. While they were eating dinner (they decided to just buy random food from the closest mart on the way home) Dongwoo couldn't help but notice that Chanshik barely made a dent in his rice. Even more unusual, he only ate one small piece of cucumber kimchi.
Dongwoo reached across the table and pushed the plate filled with Chanshik's favorite food closer to him.
"Channie.. Isn't that your favorite? Eat more."
"I'm not hungry," He murmured. He put down his bowl of rice and chopsticks, proceeding to go take a shower.
There was an awkward silence while Chanshik went to gather his pajamas. When the bathroom door closed with a click, Dongwoo let loose all nerves in his body and fell backwards to the ground.
He groaned, "What did I do to make him so sad?"
Sunwoo gave him an apologetic glance, avoiding eye contact. "This may or may not be partially my fault... But I have something that will make Channie less sad."
Dongwoo quickly got up from his lazy position and looked hopefully at Sunwoo. "You do?"
----
The next day at 2:58 in the afternoon, all 5 members were in the waiting room preparing to go onstage in two hours. They had time to kill before they were called to rehearse.
Chanshik noticed that Dongwoo was nowhere to be found, and pointed that out to Junghwan with puppy dog eyes that could make straight men go gay. "Hyung... did I make him so mad that he doesn't even want to show his face to me at 3pm?"
Junghwan stuttered, trying to find the right words to say when, suddenly, Dongwoo jumps out of a nearby closet wearing his stage outfit and a fake, hot pink mustache. Jinyoung, Sunwoo, Jungwhan, and Chanshik were in too much shock at what was in front of them that they didn't even scream.
Sunwoo breaks the silence by laughing so hard he fell out of his chair and started rolling on the ground. He eventually loses air and holds his stomach, practically shaking in laughter, yet no noise coming out of his mouth. Clearly someone should be concerned about his well-being, but they were paying a bit more attention to the pink furry mess on Dongwoo's face.
Chanshik's mouth slowly forms a smile and it breaks into a loud laughter. This then causes Jinyoung and Sandeul to break into laughter as well, tears coming out of their eyes and quickly grabbing their phones to take a picture. Before they could get a proper shot of his face, Chanshik runs toward Dongwoo and hugs him a little too tight, his face blocking the view of the mustache (good thing Jinyoung took video).
Sunwoo stops laughing on the floor and yells, "Get a room you two!"
Dongwoo ignores his comment and focuses more on how soft Chanshik was. It was like hugging a puppy wrapped in a blanket. It was so warm and comfortable and
Chanshik let go of Dongwoo, making him slightly disappointed. He smiled at the man in frames and gave him his killer aegyo smile while saying "Saranghae hyung!" over and over and over.
He smirked at him before sitting down on the couch next to Junghwan.
Dongwoo could hear his heart pound a bit faster than before, with a mixture of warm fuzziness mixed in there somewhere. He wasn't sure what this meant, but he sat down next to Sunwoo on the floor and thanked him for the good idea.

"I won the bet hyung," Chanshik whispered to Junghwan with a victorious smile on his face. "You have to buy all the cucumber kimchi I want for a month, got it?"
Junghwan sighed. "I thought it'd be impossible for you to get Dongwoo to wear a fake mustache... Then again, Jinyoung and Sunwoo were in on it too."
