I miss the Dresden Files

I watched Merlin when NBC premiered it and I like it, but it made me realize how much I still really miss the Dresden Files. And no, the books are NOT the same. I read Storm Front and was not impressed. I knew that before I started the book, but I was still disappointed.

Sniff! I am also still aching constantly for the return of the show!!! Why was it canceled? It was so good! It had magic, humor and conflict!!! Why cant we have a second season? Please!!!

I agree. I mean I know it's dead and it's never coming back, but I can't let go! And watching shows like Merlin makes me miss it even more. I wonder if we can still petition Lionsgate (I think they're in charge of the Sci-fi channel). Perhaps we could petition them to put the show on a different channel?

Yes to a new petition! I think they should know they have such a big fan audience! I would watch in on any channel at any time they would put it!!!

*sigh* I miss Harry and Bob too :(
I tried to read the books but just couldn't get into them, I hate reading anything in first person and there was no way I could get through an entire book *bleh*
I do love the book covers tho :)

But seriously, if they ever got the show up and running again, I'd be the happiest person in the world *siiiigh*

My problem wasn't the first person narration, but the characterization. Also Harry used the "tummy" several times. What grown man uses the word "tummy"?

Ok, have to agree with you on the use of the word "tummy" (wtf?)

I do looooove the Dresden comics tho, the art is amazing (they actually managed to get a good combination of book Harry and tv series Harry :D)
