When I didn't get reloaded yesterday, I had a lot of time on my hands. I probably should've been more productive and accomplish some things, but instead favored the path of least resistance and goofed-off online all day. Here's the details of my surfing, submitted for your amusement, interest, and knowledge.

He is definitely a charming dude. He's the best thing about that whole documentary.

a) Mediocre does describe the Dandy Warhols perfectly. But that one album they did where they tried to be Depeche Mode was great, because it was the perfect kind of music for mediocre.

b) Zia is a little butchy, but how did you not know about the topless? That was her thing and probably 50% of how they got famous. She always performed topless, making them quite popular in Portland or wherever they came from.

c) While a tambourine man is impressive, nothing tops the guys in the Bosstones and the Happy Mondays who have no intruments---they just get paid to get fucked up and dance.

I didn't know that anyone had been convicted for Mia Zapata's murder either. I saw a documentary about it on A&E a while back, I think it was an episode of City Confidential, and all it said at the end was that they had a suspect in mind, but were still gathering evidence.
