Eyyyyyyyyyyy, this thing is really nice. Like really, really nice. I've always had a thing for urban settings taken a bit to the extreme, and the Kowloon Walled City has long been a perfect realization of that. Everything just feels so close and jammed together, you know?
And you can feel that in the story, how even at serious moments the noise of other people is still there. Everything is well-paced, and the style of the prose is nice and easy. I hope you don't mind me saying that the idea behind the story is quite typical, but because the setting/premise of the story is out of the ordinary, this rendition is really well-done as it provides contrast and reminds you that the characters are still people and their feelings are universal. I just, I love this. Everything is so busy around them as they experience such a pivotal moment in their lives, and they know too much about other people yet at the same time still don't know them.
It's just perfect. Thank you for writing this. ;;

uhuhuhu thank you so so much for liking this ;; i've always wanted to write something inspired by kowloon walled city, because it was a bizarre place, but it was so fascinating. like, how small the apartments were, and how close the buildings were, and how you could go to the doctor and to school and buy groceries and never leave the complex. it was truly fascinating. also, i heard that a lot of people actually liked living there, despite all the mafia business and the water and all, bc it was a really tight community. IT'S JUST SO FASCINATING

this was so great! and chanyeol was just so crazy and endearing. i liked how it was more sorta focused on the friendship part? even the romance at the end was nice ^_^. and i loveddd the setting!!

This was really nice and sweet to read. It was funny as well and the plot was really quite cool. Chansoo's personalities just seemed realistic and on point, I could imagine their whole dynamics and relationship to be like that in real life.
I liked it a lot. :)
