Weird that they both have the abilities instead of a full transfer, which oddly reminds me of that episode of Lois & Clark where that odd little man got Superman's powers...and then that mouse

Actualy, ancient LSH had a lightning power transfer. the cosmopolitan man or some such.
He was a janitor and cleaning up in front of some funky statues of the LSH, lightning struck him thru the statues and he got their powers... for a time.
