Lovely and well rounded tale. I especially liked the sibling interactions and the diverse observations on the difference between thoughts and actions.

I think yours is the original approach, I think a lot of people wrote what my mind's eye saw immediately :D

Glad you liked it! :D It is a handy little device to be sure, dropping both your character and your reader into the middle of events and letting them sort it out together.

Dare I ask what your mind's eye saw?
