well the above makes sense if you look at time in a linear fashion, but really its cyclical

actually I aimed this post more for you. but in the event of time travel, time would seem to have to be linear, and if you did change something in the past it seems you would simply travel into an alternate dimensions future rather than ones normal future. I dunno though, I need to stop reading science fiction.
