Christmas is a holiday in the winter season meant to spend time with friends and family, and the possible exchange tokens of comradeship or affection could occur. X-mas is a shortened term of the word Christmas created for reasons that really don't interest me much.
Hm... Well Christmas is... It's... Well... It's a holiday where people spend time together and exchange presents... I'm sort of suprised you havn't heart of this before.
