While I too will miss the old Ft. L hotel, I did find this from the listserve about the new hotel:

"The pool is about twice the size of the one in the old hotel, and it and the gym are open 24 hours. The pool bar has an indoor section as well as serving the outdoors ( we can recommend the mango vodka
daquiries).

There are lots of chain restaurants within very easy walking distance,and more adventurous places within one mile (and there are *sidewalks*)."

So yea, no being trapped with over-priced hotel food! :) And thanks again for taking care of the rooms this year!

i've been so bad about keeping up with the listserve!

Well, that was from way back, I saved it because I wanted info about hotel. Never know when it would come in handy!

Yea, guess that would help! It woudl suck to get there and not be able to check in. :)
