Old Friends

There is a spot on Sonia's running route where she slows down to a brisk walk. Not that she runs the entire route, but if she hasn't slowed down yet, she makes it a point to do so at that particular spot. That's when she lets all of the thoughts she's been holding back for the last thirty minutes or so tumble out of confinement

Kathy follows Sonia in. "So, I've heard something about you working for Two-Face...?"

[kathy_duquesne]

"You're the one working for Two-Face's alter ego. Even if he's changed, Sonia, there have got to be enemies he's got all over."

[sonia_alcana]

"His name is Harvey, Kathy," she says, almost automatically. "And I can handle myself."

She even grins a little.

"I've been giving him self-defence lessons, actually. Guy's a quick study."

[kathy_duquesne]

"I'd imagine so. Muscle holds memory better than the brain does." She shrugs. "Have any of Two-Face's old cohorts tried to mess with Harvey?"

[sonia_alcana]

"Not as far as I know," Sonia says. "But we..."

She catches herself.

Not used to keeping things from Kathy. But she has the feeling that the less people who know about her and Harvey going after Thorne, the better. Especially if Thorne figures out it's her.

[kathy_duquesne]

Her eyes narrow.

"But we what?"

[sonia_alcana]

Sonia shifts uncomfortably.

"We... have a grudge in common."

[kathy_duquesne]

"...Thorne?"

[sonia_alcana]

A nod.

"Who else?"
