Have you considered font-making? I've been a fan of Cumberland Fontworks for some time, mostly to use the various handwriting fonts in gaming handouts, but also because I enjoy fonts for their own sake.

I have, vaguely. Especially for Celerity. Apparently all the cool kids use fonts made from their own handwriting for lettering their comics.
