I love this poem. =) I learned it in school too but my favorite memory is of a student in my speech class when he recited it with power and emotion...it was unforgetable!

Aw, glad you like the graphic... The red poppies and that quote just seemed to need to be together.

That's beautiful and so is the graphic. I often do think of the soldiers, those past and present and their sacrifice. And the Revolutionary War is usually where my mind wonders to.

I think of it often. I suppose part of that is due to the people I know who are a part of the military...

Thanks... I had fun finding a picture to make it... :)

hmm... I can't remember if I was 15 or not, but I know I was a year behind due to some of our moves and such earlier on in my schooling career. ;) It was in one of Abeka's books- the spelling Poetry one. :-P
