This is a poem that sent a thrill through me when I first read it back in 7th grade. Not so much because of the poem- though it really is written well, but because of the ideas that it conveyed. Thought and dreams, combined with hard work do pay off. I may not be much of an inventor myself, but I can appreciate the thought, the dreams, the ability

I don't remember exactly which book it was, but I think it was 7th grade "Of People", though they changed the books quite a bit and I don't know if they might have had it in 9th grade too, since I didn't do 9th. :)
