I have spent many hours sitting still with a poultice over my eyes. It has given me a lot of time to think over all that has happened and what it truly means.

I feel so blessed. To be in the presence of angels, beings of the highest divinity like almost to God Himself... that in itself is a blessing so wholly remarkable and unlooked for as to ( Read more... )

Clara - what - Armageddon?! ... You can't really believe that ... *despite what he's saying, he knows that the end of the world would actually make quite a lot of sense, considering the red sky, the ghosts, the weird happenings, and the carnage that has been going on ... just doesn't want to accept that that's what is happening*

... And wh-what do you mean, you saw angels? *isn't ready to accept that, either*

*looks calm and at peace, the strain and worry lines that have haunted her face for weeks gone completely* It is no longer a matter of belief. It is fact. Yes, I saw angels in all their glory... wings and radiance and flaming swords and divine beauty... I witnessed them in battle with a demon... and the Horsemen of the Apocalypse are here, they Ride in our streets. It has all come to pass as described in the Bible. *finds herself distantly amused at popular knowledge of things like angels and Armageddon, somehow retained in the culture for centuries from when Christianity was more widespread, along with things like Christmas... wonders how many people are really aware of the origin of these ideas*

*sits down heavily, and just stares into space for a moment* The end of the world, it's - it's really - happening? ... So ... this is it, then? We all just ... die? *has a thought; swallows hard, pulling himself together* Does the B-Bible say how everything ... ends?

*sits down next to him, putting a comforting arm around his shoulder* Don't think of it as dying... think of it as... moving on to the next stage... someplace better, if you've lived a life worthy of redemption. *ponders this* ...Yes and no. It gives a general idea, but... already things are happening differently than I imagined. I suspect many of the prophesies have been muddied in the writing down and translation. I know to expect these things: the Great Tribulation, the Campaign of Armageddon, the Second Coming of the Messiah with the restoration of peace to the world, the imprisonment and judgement of Satan, and the ushering in of the New Heavens and New Earth. ...I believe we are in the time of Tribulation, and that Armageddon will be upon us soon... I don't really know how long this will take.

*more disheveled than usual, carrying books (although that's pretty normal)* A-are you serious? Angels and the end of the world? I've been pouring through books to find out how to reverse all this but that's-...

Yes, Sheska, I'm quite serious. There's no point in trying to reverse it. It's inevitable. *seems completely unconcerned*

*reeeeally hoping she's mistaking something here* But, there must be some way to stop it. I don't want to die...

*smiles kindly* I wouldn't worry about it, Sheska. You're a good person. I'm sure Jesus will take you with Him to Heaven when He comes.
