Well, surprise surprise. The theory that I've stuck with all this time, that this Iraq war was PRINCIPALLY for Israel, continues to be explored in the mainstream press. From Yahoo news (who has a tendency to take down stories that make Israel look bad):

STOP CALLING IT THE FUCKING JEWISH STATE.

Israel was founded upon ZIONISM. Not Judaism. They claim to speak for Judaism, but Jews disagree.  Israel is the Zionist state.
