Sex in the City, Songchick Style

Molly and I spent the day in Manhattan yesterday.  The Girl Scout office sponsored a multi-troop trip to see Mary Poppins on Broadway.  It was an awesome trip.  HOpefully they'll do more of these in the future.

We left Bing at 7, and got to Manhattan around 11.  We had 2 1/2 hours of free time

We're definately planning on more trips there ... I've always been so scared of the sheer size of it, and walking around Manhattan gives you such a different perspective. 100% positive experience despite the rain, NY'ers with killer umbrellas (had a sizable chunk of hair ripped from my head when some lady got her umbrella caught in my hair and rather than stop to detangle it, just hauled off and YANKED the damn thing!!!), and explosion with subsequent panic.
