32 icons (20 for
20inspirations + alternates/rejects)
1. This post feels really pretentious because I added explanations for the art styles. I'm really, really sorry and a bit ashamed of that because I honestly have no idea what I'm talking about. The descriptions were there for me to inspire myself and I've found they help describe the styles I was going for if anyone else is as clueless as I am.
2. I've not iconned Doctor Who in awhile. I don't know why I stopped - the caps are always so fun to work with - but I know I'll for sure have to icon it again and again (and again).
3. Since we were able to pick some of our own inspirations, I split this into four groups of icons that are all based on different art movements: baroque, impressionism, expressionism and pop art (which I wasn't going to do tbh - not a big fan - but I was clueless as to what else would be fun to work with). Also because of this, I don't think I found the actual post as inspiring? It helped when I was stuck, but for the most part the styles themselves helped more.
4. Somewhat because of the different art styles, these icons are basically all bordering that veeeery thin line between pretty and hideous. Probably closer to hideous, haha.
