Around this time of the year, jobless youth dispersed all over our dear city feel invigorated with a fresh sense of purpose and direction in life and after this great jnanodaya, gradually abandon their usual hangouts: the employment exchange, the local youth congress office and the neighborhood video rental store-cum cable service provider. You may laugh, but the pounding hasn't stopped here yet. The autodriver that's standing outside appreciating the whole show blithely informs me that 'Jogi' was just played a coupla minutes back. Whew. Now I know how a holocaust survivor feels :)

BTW I have a Jogi audio cassette & a Jogi audio CD(my brother got them as prizes :-) which I badly want to dispose of. Of course, the easiest way would have been the trash can, but couldn't exactly do that. I suppose Jogi completes 50 successful days today. The masses have had their say. *Sigh*

A 'Jogi' audio CD? That's rich. Good anyway, the digital revolution per colating down to the masses. I foresee a future where our jobless youth can enthuse themselves by getting off on Raghavendra Rajkumar DVDs.
