Feeling rather defeatist today

I just finished a draft of my letter to the Field Museum for the internship this summer. I don't really have a clue what kind of a chance I have this year, but I know it's better than last year. Still, a chance means nothing if I don't get one of the two positions they are offering. Ugh. I will also put in for something at the Cleveland Natural

What is your master's research specifically in?

Heh...as of today, after a lengthy talk on it with my advisor, it's about native opinions on the misappropriation of traditional artforms, in particular the aesthetics of moko and tatau (tattoo). I am very interested in how art that is meant to express a sense of community is reinterpreted by Westerners as an expression of individuality.

Are there a number of sources available to you regarding the primary source responses from those populations?
