I think I pretty much agree with you.

I am loving this storyline so much. So many subtle meanings:)

Yeah but Kripke tends to lose track of so many other things. I mean if Sam is Lucifer's vessel, why would he transport him to an airplane? And how did the Angel's end up bringing the Apocalypse? And if it was their idea then it makes the first three seasons with YED and the mythology all rrubiish. Too many plotholes.

Maybe because they don't know he is the vessel or maybe because they need him alive now.
