Have you heard Big Boi's Royal Flush with Raekwon and Andre on it? It's neat, it sounds like old Outkast, and 3000's verse is a real barn burner, it reminds me why I liked them in the first place.

I wish he would just release a classic solo hip-hop album already.

I love that Rae and BB each kick a solid 16 bars before Andre goes off the rails, he just gives a seminar on that song.

Also my local used CD store just got in a TON of Boot Camp Clik stuff. I grabbed Enta Da Stage and a greatest hits disk (mostly so I could have "Sound Bwoy Burriell" and they didn't have The Shinin')

What else is dope that I should look for from them next time I'm in.

Well it's a shame that "the Shinnin" wasn't there, that's probably my favorite Boot Camp album (check an LJ post of mine a page back for a great rmx video from that album)

Heltah Skeltah's first album "Nocturnal" is great, also check OGC's first album "Da Storm" .BCC has a newer crew album called "The Last Stand" which is good as well. (beats by Marco Polo, Pete Rock, Large Pro etc..)

but seriously, make an effort to find The Shinnin..heh

I used to really not have any interest in them (except Distortion To Static and Clones) but I had a change of heart when Game Theory was fucking amazing. The hardcore, drum-heavy, synth-bassy "leaked" videos preceding this new record got me really open but this single isn't as exciting to me. I think it would be more exciting to me if I hadn't been put in a mood to want to get my ass kicked by those leaks. It's a good track (I have a weird affection for Peedi since his cameo on their last record) but I have a feeling there will be other shit on the record I like more.

I still, even though it is the future, don't love r'n'b hooks 99 times out of ten. It's almost always a strike in my books.
