okay, the next person who asks me if I'm home for thanksgiving, I WILL bite their head off. i'm SO tired of the insular nature of the American psyche. yes, there's an international provision for american citizens to skip their jobs and school without penalty to go back to the united states and have a 4 day weekend with their families. uh huh. so of ( Read more... )

It's not that we think every country celebrates Thanksgiving, it's just that we feel Canada is basically a part of Maine, or maybe North Dakota. (don't hurt me) p.s. I totally missed making thanksgiving an international holiday with you.

Oh honey. If you let *that* get to you, just wait.

I loved being in Canada for US Thanksgiving--it was the only time in my life that people have actually been around for my birthday.
