so as you all, things have been a bit busy. Georgia at work made it clear that I worked over 40 hours last week, when I'm only supposed to work 30-35. I told her it's fine on occasion, but that I have commissions to worry about. She said she understands (and meant it), and that's one thing already that I love about this place. Someday I will have bosses who actually understand me when I talk to them about things like that. Not the whole YOU WORK FOR ME YOU ARE MINE type dealy.

Ugh. Hating my job so much right nooow... I have to get time off the first and second week of classes and I -know- they won't post the schedule up until the very last schedule. Rob doesn't want me to quit but I'm like 'WE'LL HAVE MONEY FROM FINANCIAL AID AND I'LL KEEP APPLYING TO PLACES'. I swear to the GODS if they tell me I can't get time off for Furfright, I'm going to quit and TAKE AS MANY OF THEM DOWN WITH ME. /rage

Poor Dougal :( I'm glad they're feeling better. How is his arthritis? Better I hope!

And I hear you on the travel journals. We're taking the bus out to PAX (Michigan to Washington OH BOY) and we go through Colorado and South Dakota and it's so gorgeous through there. Gonna take LOTS of pictures through the window (as well as at the con) and make a big travel journal. Same for FurFright.
