 So my laptop decided to completely die. I'm just about to buy a car and go on holidays so I simply have no money for a new one. This is really distressing. It feels as if part of my soul has died with it. How sad is that

I know how you feel :( My laptop is dying as well. It keeps turning itself off and the ventilating tihngy on the back makes weird sounds! I have search the interwebs for a new cheap one, but I don't have the money! I don't know what to do without this laptop, so I feel you!

I would hate it if my laptop died. ): It's my school laptop so it would probably get fixed...but haha. I would still die. My PC died last year and I couldn't do any gaming...*sniff*

What's Heart of Gold hun?

Heart of Gold is this gift giving challenge for Whedonland which i am a part of. You sign up and get given another person to make gifts for (sort of like secret santa) and you have to make them heaps of awesome things (fic or graphics or gifs or whatever) and someone makes you things in return. It's heaps of fun, as most things at Whedonland are.

That just sucks! There is no chance of getting the data from the hard drive at all? I don't write but I have tons of pictures on mine and if it died, I don't know what I would do.
