Yesterday on a whim I decided it was a good idea to download all of Freaks and Geeks. I've heard great things about it but I must say, after watching the first few episodes that I'm not that into it. thats what i ended up doing... i have all the seasons on my computer, but only watched S1. found the entire series for $60! deal of the centuryyyy.

the pilot rewatch got my in the moood to start watching the show again. but i have sooo many shows on the go! *pulls hair out*

Such a good deal! I think I can get it pretty easily for around $90. I just need to decide if I want to spend that much. I mean, I spent $90 on season 1-4 of doctor who. So I think I probably do want to.

What shows do you have on the go? There was a while when I was watching so many. I'm in a dry spell at the moment though.

Freaks and Geeks was an enjoyable show, and one that had so much potential, but was unfortunately canceled. I think the big appeal to it is that at the time it was out, all teen shows were focusing on the popular kids, and this was one that was solely about the kids who felt like they didn't belong. It was a refreshing change.

Farscape is fantastic, and I show that I think got better and better as it went along. I'm really glad you enjoyed the pilot!! :D

Yeah, I do enjoy that aspect of Freaks and Geeks. It really feels like a show I would have loved if I had watched it when I was a bit younger.

I completely understand. It's not cheap for some reason to buy the show. I have some of the Starburst series that came out and was discontinued. I just gave up and decided to download until a good price for the entire series came out.

I found this on a price check: under $60.

Ooo, that's a really good price. I just can't tell what region it is. If it's region 1 it won't play on my DVD player.

Probably region 1, but I bought a cheap DVD player that is regionless for the purpose since sometimes other countries are cheaper.

(Plus my Mac can have up to 3 regions on it.)

I defintely recommend Farscape. It starts of a little funny and once you get past the puppets, it's a great show and far more satisfying ending than BSG.
