so i was just thinking about this... i wish on the ipod you could pick the song to start your "shuffle songs" with. i love "shuffle songs", its pretty much all i use, but sometimes i do want to hear a certain song while im working out and for those occasions i wish you could pick where your random started... like on itunes. you can play a song and

Ok, now understand that I don't have an ipod... nor have I actually ever touched one.. but can't you just select the song you want to hear, then turn on shuffle? Just like you said you can do on itunes.. but waiting until the first song is done?
