Times like this really make me wish I could drive, but I will be home and I do want to hang out with you. I'm not sure if that helps but.. yeah.

Actually, you were correct. As the direct object, "me" would be the acceptable usage in this case, since you wouldn't say "you're hanging out with I." You're better than you think!

I thought Keith wasn't going to be home this weekend!?
