You managed to write Boyd perfectly. I always imagined his very first real interaction with Raylan would play out in a very similar manner, with Raylan being all defensive and cautious yet quietly intrigued by this Crowder boy at the same time. Loooved this.
I read the Carl Pruitt story. Very creeped out now, thank you very much.

I've been watching and loving this show for a while now, but haven't been in the fandom at all. I hope to find more stories that ring as true as this does.
You've sure got Boyd's love of words down, and Raylan's blend of humor with barely-restrained anger. Love these two a lot.
